Prada has always been known for their sleekness, simplicity, attention to detail and most importantly, elegance. Men and women alike would wrestle a bear to get their hands on the new Prada collection to add to their wardrobes, it’s just that pristine. In the 2013 spring summer collection Prada sets the scene for a new focus in its visual menswear story.

Prada has enlisted the help of four leading men, two of them well known starts and the other two fresh and fantastic upcoming talents to add new individual style to their Spring/Summer 2013 menswear campaign. The stars Dane DeHaan known gor Chronicle, Benicio Del Toro of The Usual Suspects, Harvey Keitel of Taxi Driver and Reservoir Dogs and Aaron Taylor-Johnson from Savages have created a Prada campaign to be remembered.

The images are black and white stills of the actors dressed in all Prada and looking as devilish as their characters have let us believed they are. All the way from their sharp suits to their men’s designer shoes every star looks a million dollars, just as Prada intended.

Is Tinie Tempah the new style icon?

Rapper Tinie Tempah has been getting recognised more and more for his fashion style rather than his music. The Nigerian born musician spent the best part of 2010 dominating the UK singles and album charts before storming into 2011 with four Brit nominations. His music is a mix between old school sounds and more modern arrangements just as his style is.

Tinie quickly became known for his original street-meets-geek chic style. 2012 saw him crowned GQ’s ‘best dressed male of 2012’, with an original and playful look, mixing preppy and urban to perfection. The rapper has become involved in fashion himself, launching his label, ‘Disturbing London’ in Selfridges last April. The brand mixes a street wear and high-end fashion aesthetic. Tinie also designed the popular Disturbing London x Blazer for Nike; becoming the only British rapper to ever design a shoe for the Nike brand.

Recreating Tinie’s style is easy and can be done on a budget on the high street. Tinie is often pictures wearing a plain white or denim shirt in a slim fit. He usually likes to experiment with different colours and patterns when it comes to suits so anything bright and cold will do the trick. A popular accessory which Tinie has made his own is the bow tie, its sleek and gives that British dandy look. Tinie is always wearing good designer shoes for men, whether its loafers or trainers they are always clean and pristine. He also likes to wear a pair of black thick rimmed glasses which gives him the ever so popular ‘geek’ look.

If you’re a man who likes to experiment with fashion and isn’t afraid to stand out or be a little different, then the Tinie Tempah style is for you. There is no wonder this rapper has made a huge impact on the fashion world, his style is fresh and unique.

What if???

What if???

What if…..?

I woke up this morning to find that my wife was already down stairs with my six week old son. As I lifted myself from my king size bed I thought, What if I could install the machine out of Wallace and Gromit. You all know the device I’m talking about, the machine that tilts you out of bed, showers you and brushes your teeth for you. I know this sounds lazy but just imagine how awesome this would be if you could buy something like this on the market. Or what if a large suction tube descended upon you just after you get out of bed that washes you, dry’s you and dresses you. We live in the 21st century, we can send out unmanned drones to strategically fire missiles right up the back side of anyone unfortunate enough to be on our naughty list. So why can’t I have a device that carries out the tedious tasks of personal hygiene?

Once I’ve grunted, groaned and stretched off, I wrap myself in my dressing gown and head towards the toilet, and then once again I had another crazy machination. What if, instead of wasting time on the toilet, wasting toilet paper and baby wipes, imagine there was a device that can digitally remove your bodily waste as and when requested? I mean, our bowel movements aren’t exactly a pleasant experience for all, not to mention we could save money on toilet cleaner, and air freshener. I saw an episode of Family Guy, this particular story encompassed the possibly of the multi verse theory. The theory states that there are millions of universes all parallel to each other in different dimensions. Well in this particular episode one universe is so advanced that all bowel movements can be requested at will and are digitally removed and sent to another universe. Also AIDS is a curable disease, by simply taking a pill and it is obliterated immediately, also another what if question to think about.

So after carrying out my business, I stumble across the landing and check the stairs to make sure the cats aren’t waiting to trip me down them. Then all of sudden, yep you guessed, a what if pops into my head, much like a random Frisbee when your wandering around your local park, or if you live in my area, a bottle of cheap vodka! Now this idea isn’t exactly new, nor is it a crazy nonexistent piece of tech, but I’ve always wanted to have an escalator instead of stairs. Now I would imagine this would be annoying if you haven’t got room for two sets, so you would have to change the settings to either up or down, but I am just lazy enough to try. I also thought a fun way of getting down the stairs would some kind of a zip wire or inflatable airplane escape slide.

So I get to the bottom of the stairs, walk into the living room and greet my wife who is watching television. She offers to make me a cup of tea and I accept and sit with my son who is currently asleep. I’m sat there with my son when I think to myself what if instead of having to make cups of tea, turning the television on and controlling the heating in the house, what about a universal control system, voice activated and handheld. A controller much like the new WII U’s, and an open voice activation system where you simply tell the house to carry out tasks. Kettle on! Heating on up to 28 degrees Celsius! Television, find me Sons of Anarchy! All these would be ideal pieces of tech and I’m pretty sure something similar does in fact exist today.

Keep your Children entertained during the Holidays

With half term and summer holidays cropping up here, there and everywhere, it can be difficult to keep your children entertained. There are many different ways you can keep your kids amused during the holidays when you are short on cash. Whether you purchase a chunky colouring book from the pound shop along with some crayons or give them some crafty bits such as cardboard and let them run wild with their imaginations, there’s always something you can please them with when you have run out of places to take them. One of the most exciting aspects that I remember from being a child is cooking and baking with my mother. We use to make a great range of delicious foods including pies, pizzas and sugary snacks. Of course, being a child I use to love baking cakes, biscuits and trifles.

Cooking with your child is a great experience for both yourself and your children. Not only will it help to keep them entertained during the long school holidays, it will also enable you to teach them the fundamentals of basic cooking methods. You will also be able to utilise the food you make and use it for future family meals to ensure nothing goes to waste. Purchasing your catering supplies won’t cost the earth either as the majority of ingredients you will probably have in your kitchen already including eggs, flour and milk. Making cupcakes with your children is a fantastic option as they will be able to have fun decorating them with icing and hundreds and thousands.

Choosing a budget computer

Choosing a budget computer

When it comes to computers I think I may have searched everywhere online for the best deals. However I believe that I have narrowed down a few sources where you can make the best budget purchase that you can. If you feel that you can beat my comparisons then please feel free to comment afterwards.

Now my first desktop tower I’m going to look at is from Tech Inventory, the Lenovo Think Centre Edge 72 Desktop. This appears to be a nice cheap all rounder, a fairly basic exterior with the as per standard disk drive. The Lenovo retails for just under £300, however it doesn’t come with a monitor, but does have built in speakers. The desktop comes with a dual core Pentium processor, 64 – bit resolution, 500GB HDD and Intel HD graphics card. Accessories include a keyboard, optical mouse and comes with Microsoft Windows 8 Pro installed.
