I just knew this was going to make it onto the site as soon as I had heard it. The base line and the lyrics are all what dancehall is about. So I was more than happy to watch the ajoined video. As it more than keeps in the spirit of the track. As often is the case we dont need to talk too much just click on the video and let us know if you like it. It is raw and some women doing stuff with their batty that is not what you can do just like that.

Nicki Minaj has brought a bubbalin butt to the screen again with anaconda, it's prolly a good think since the track is bit of a let down considering what she is capable of, not the first time either. Still the video has some great shoes and style and a ref to Alexander MqQueen.

I caught a view on MTV while in an odd pub the feathers in Chalfont St Giles and it struck me that I simply had to blog it - yet again annoyingly Calvin Harris is on the editors shortlist and the video indeed makes the grade. But who are HAIM the band ? They were something few try hard to reach and most fail - unique. They are 3 sisters from L.A. who formed HAIM with drummer making 4.
HAIM are este, danielle and alana the three sisters and the drummer is dash hutton.

Some strong scenes and a lot of American old footage are wound into this sure fire hit. Every American for a start will be fired up by this song - makes me think that there is an election on and hey that would have been a good idea. I used to have an American dream myself so I like especially the feelings that this song talks about.

I will always have a soft spot for the crazyness and COLOUR (COLOR for you yanks) in Nicki Minaj's hair and clothing. So look out for more videos here soon. DJ Khaled is somewhat less appealing as also he appears to have hijacked 'Khaled' as a musical name and there is an awesom artist from Algeria called Khaled and if you have spent any amount of time in France you would have hear his unique sound. Still lets not be too hard on this new big guy.

This music video is a bling and visual effects feast to accompany Flo Rida’s hopelessly catchy tune Who Dat Girl featuring Akon. It kicks off with some blatant product placement from an online gambling business that’s sure to keep the video production accountant happy. Indeed they needed a healthy budget with this number, since it rustles up just about every conceivable cinematography and effects tricks in the book - and all in a modest duration of three and a half minutes.

This masterpiece by Flo Rida will have even the puniest office wimp running out into the street looking to eat up miles, or crashing the local sweat shop to pump some iron. Yes, energy and pace is what the aptly named ‘Good Feeling’ music video is all about.

Rihanna used to irritate the hell out of me with her umbrella song and I feel its fair to say now that she has evolved into better music productions and mixed with many other notable artists which has also helped her to establish herself today.

Fledgling arsonists will love this vid from US pop punk band, Fall Out Boy. It embarks on a bizarre premise: hire a couple of great looking girls to assist a mean-ass dude in the combustion of expensive musical equipment. An odd ‘burning the music’ homage perhaps, but somehow fitting with the driving track (that in places sounds more like an 80’s rock anthem than anything derived from a punk origin).

Keeping on the theme of setting stuff alight from the Fall Out Boy review here we see Snoop with partners in crime, Popcaan & Mavado on a video outing to seemingly enrage anti-smoking campaigners.
Whatever you think about the underlying message, the Caribbean Rastafarian culture and sultry tropical atmosphere is beautifully captured. As with much of Snoop’s work, he moves through edgy territory, in this case asking us to light up and get high with him. But it’s just Snoop doing what he does - all effortless and with an easy reggae vibe in keeping with the colourful images.

With the pitch perfect agendas of shows like the X-Factor seeking the next teen poodle to exploit, it’s refreshing to go out and see a live band with a lot of grit and a few imperfections creeping in. And if you’re looking for something well outside the norm, then an event like the recent album release party from punk pop outfit The Get at The Railway Hotel in Southend should hit the mark. Let’s hope their latest album Gettitude! is not the last and will provide a reason to host another of these extraordinary nights. Indeed, if this transgender rock frolic had been promoted to the wider world, it would have relegated the Sex Pistols’ stage performance to the annals of banality.

Bowie’s music video (or short film as it’s being described) for his new single Where Are We Now? might take a few plays to absorb for the less broad minded individuals out there. Indeed, take Bowie out of the equation for a moment, and you may assume you’ve stumbled on an art house film uploaded to YouTube by a stoned student.

This music video is a great example of how keeping things simple can work just beautifully. There’s no big statement here, no groundbreaking concept graphics or political message to be made. The overall notion is one of coming together - all races and nationalities - to party and enjoy music. It’s nicely shot in exotic locations and draws on winning themes: beach parties, packed concerts, dancing and good looking young people immersed in good vibes. Can’t lose really can it?

One of the best films if you like good concept movies
I love a good concept, this film doesn't dissapoint and the performances from Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried are good.
'I dont have time' something I feel daily like most people but in In Time it is the
struggle to get more of it that drives the film.

For someone as middle as me when I first experienced Leona Lewis sing Hurt originally by Johnny Cash (a massive favorite of my fathers) my ears pricked up.
Not only has she always stood apart - a long way from the new pack of artists she is not afraid to try this massive ballad. I featured the original video out of respect and the other fact that you will hear this over and over for the moment and though I would always prefer the original as Cash was singing from the real depths of his soul.
Now Leona Lewis has just performed this at the Royal Variety Performance (I don't rate the dress) and Nicole Scherzinger (I got it wrong didn't I ) will be glad that Peter Kay did a funny featuring Jimmy Saville creating the space to follow Lewis' performance. In the words of Kelly Rowland who's latest song in very average though her body is amazing 'SHE LAID IT DOWN'
