How Did Bhaag Milka Bhaag Begin

How Did Bhaag Milka Bhaag Begin

One of the most awaited films of this year has been ‘Bhaag Milka Bhaag’. Its release is something everyone had been waiting for since a long time. The story is about Milka, a flying Sikh. During the 1947 partition, he had lost his entire family. He went on to compete at the Olympic Games during the years 1960 and 1964. The director of the film is Rakeysh Mehra. He states that Milka is one figure that is larger than life and that everyone has grown up with the folklore of Milkha. Milkha is what Jesse Owens has meant for the field and tract for the West and what Pele has meant for football. The title of the film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is nothing but Milkha’s father’s last memorable words to Milkha. He had asked him to run for his life or else he would have been killed during the riots. Milkha did run and along with other refugees and boarded a train.

Milkha had a deep impact on India, a country which was trying to recover and grow from the struggle of freedom. The kind of impact, Milkha Singh had on the nation simply enthralled director Rakeysh Mehra. The director gives an explanation that during that time, they had been searching for heroes but those who were outside of politics. The world knew Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister and Mahatma Gandhi, but no other hero. Accordingly Milkha decided to go out there and help in conquering the world for his country and in turn become a hero. Rakeysh Mehra states that Milka always ran along with his fears, but never away from them.

In Rome at the Olympics in 1960, Milkha had attained the fourth position in the four hundred meter race. The race was an interesting one especially because to come in the fourth place, a photo finish was required. At the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games, Milkha had beaten all to win the gold medals. However at the Olympic Games he came fourth and thus could not win a medal at the Olympics, which had always been his dream. In this film, a blockbuster, a number of elements including action, emotion, drama and dance have been incorporated. According to Rakeysh Mehra, the main key in any film is drama. In the past a number of other directors too had experiment with other biopics and as the latest, Rakeysh Mehra too had joined the list. Milkha Singh’s role is being played by Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar.

According to Farhan, playing the role of a living person can be quite a challenging task. A lot of preparation is required mentally as well as physically, he states. Farhan further says that he wanted people to believe that an athlete was cast in the film after which he was taught how to act, rather than the other way round. When a person walks onto the running track, there is a feeling of belonging to that space with comes from the energy exuded from within.

Marriage Is Not A Big Deal For Salman Khan, KangnaRanaut, Kareena Kapoor And Parineeti Chopra!

Marriage Is Not A Big Deal For Salman Khan, KangnaRanaut, Kareena Kapoor And Parineeti Chopra!

It is the belief of a few Bollywood actors and actress that marriage is not such a big deal. In fact it is not as necessary as it is otherwise considered. What is all the big fuss about marriage, they think! Salman Khan is one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood right now. The whole country is waiting for this Dabangg actor to lose his single status. Actually, in his to-do list, getting married is not even the remotest option. He revealed this recently. He says he doesn’t know about marriage, but without getting married, there is a way to have kids and he is keen in that. In an interview Salman Khan stated that he is trying to identify a way of doing that. Steering clear of matrimony is not what just Sallu wants. Even Kareena Kapoor Khan who after a long deliberation has got married to Saif Ali Khan had stated before marriage, that it is no big deal getting married. In the past five years, she and Saif have managed to be together and hopefully in the next twenty-five years they will manage to do so. According to Bebo, marriage is nothing but just a legal paper. For the future generation, it seems that the marriage certificate will not be seen as a kind of permission for the couple to cohabit. Parineeta Chopra states that she is pretty cool about live-in relationships. When the day ends, it is normal to meet the partner, even in a live-in relationship. In case you feel tired, you can sleep in his home and return back to your own home in the morning. If this is done 3-4 times a week then it can be considered as a live-in relationship, according to her.

According to Imran Khan, there are many other actors who love the idea of being bonded legally. If you get married, it feels great. Many people get scared about marriage, but actually it is nothing like that. In fact Imran highly recommends marriage. In 2011 he married Avantika Mallik, his long time girlfriend. Even Vidya Balan has vouched for wedded bliss and wholeheartedly believes in the institution of marriage. She stated that even before she met Sidharth Roy Kapoor, her groom, she had planned the whole wedding ceremony in her head.

So what is the big deal about marriage for a few actors? According to them, marriage creates a dent in their career in films. It results in a rapid dropping of the actor’s salability. Kareena Kapoor states at the FICCI Frames 2013 opening day that both marriage and films are two different aspects and they should not be clubbed. If in case a girl gets married or loves someone, it will not mean that her onscreen character will not be loved by people. It is not at all a crime to get married or fall in love, she states. Even if such is the common thinking or perception, a number of Bollywood towners are being driven away from tying the nuptial knot.

Just Like Shahrukh, Should Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan And Salman Khan Confess That They Are 40-Plus!

At the Chennai Express promo, Shahrukh Khan almost disclosed his real age. It is being talked about whether such an example will be followed by his peers as well or not. Instead of making a claim that he is a 25 year old energetic boy, he claims that he is just 40-plus. Just like him there are a number of actors taking great pride in looking young and feel that they can pass the muster of being young twenty year old lads!

Anu Agarwal Is Yet To Watch Aashiqui!

The film Aashiqui 2 has already hit the screens. This new film has already achieved roaring success. However, Anu Agarwal is yet to watch her film which had become a huge hit and had also achieved roaring business in the 1990s. Music of the film, Aashiqui released in the 1990s has remained one of the most popular and best produced in the Bollywood industry. Anu Agarwal and the music are the two things people remember most about this film. It has been found out that this film which vaulted Anu Agarwal to the stardom world in the 1990s, almost overnight was never watched by her. The songs of this film are still popularly heard by people even today and everyone who has seen the film can never forget the beautiful story of this film in which Anu Agarwal and Rahul Roy had acted. Anu debuted in Aashiqui directed by Mahesh Bhatt and everyone remembers this film for her flair and her soulful eyes.

Anu’s friend once told her that in the Bollywood industry, she was the only one who was so blatantly honest, wore short skirts, was highly intellectual and had everyone’s backing. She was the only one to smoke Malboro lights in public. She never wanted to pursue a career in Bollywood nor any notoriety. Anu did the role since Mahesh Bhatt had pressurized her to do it. After the film Aashiqui became a big hit, she got some more roles after which she was able to establish her career in Bollywood. The films she acted in did not bring her so much name and fame as compared to her debut film, Ashiqui directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Anu had never strived to be in the number one position, anytime, nor did she think of taking up too many films.

Presently Anu Agarwal is busy writing her biography in which she describes her rise to popularity and her life ever since. She describes how she bagged the role, and how Mahesh Bhatt had said that she was a star. When she asked him where she was a star, he said that she was a star in the galaxy and must act in films. At that time she said that she never even watched Hindi movies, leave alone acting in Hindi films. Mahesh Bhatt wrote a script and then called her up seven months later. Anu Agarwal was surprised that he didn’t even know her and yet wrote a script for her to act. Mahesh told her that if she wouldn’t act in that film Aashiqui, he would never make that film.

Anu attained a lot of name and fame after the release of Aashiqi. However she was a reluctant actress and found that fame proved too much for her and she couldn’t handle this fame. She also couldn’t take too much of the negative press and fans. In 1995 she disappeared from the Bollywood industry after all the projects she had taken up were completed. She was paralyzed for 26 months and went into coma for 29 days when she met with an accident in the year 1999. Recently she has returned and has begun writing her biography. She has not even seen the film Aashiqui in which she had acted but reveals that she should see it now, now that the new one is also released. Even if she does watch her film, she may not be able to relate to Aashiqui anymore probably.
