The south director Alphonse Puthran is all set to go ahead with the remake of the Malayalam thriller “Shutter” in Hindi. The possible cast will be Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, AbhayDeol and Tusshar Kapoor and the team is awaiting confirmation from the artists. Alphonse Puthran, who is riding high with the super hit film in Malayalam-Tamil, “Neram”, will be retaining the same successful technical crew for the Hindi project also. The pre-production work is in full swing. The original film in Malyalam, “Shutter”, was directed by Joy Mathew and is a satirical take on the Indian workers in the Gulf.

Cold War Continues

The two big Khans of the Bollywood industry, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan turned foes in a birthday party of Katrina Kaif in2008. It is a known fact that since then they have tried and avoided meeting each other in public.

Many of the siblings of Bollwood starts are not so glamorous. However, Katrina Kaif’s sisters seem to be no less hot. With her unerring style sense and to die for figure, Katrina Kaif has managed to capture the fantasies and the hearts of millions of people across the globe. In fact, she has become an icon in Bollywood and the press always seems to know what kind of look she would be having next.

Isabella her sister also looks quite hot. She has already started taking up some small jobs in the modeling industry by has to yet make an entry in Bollywood. On many of the social networking sites, her hot pictures have already started featuring and have gained much popularity. Within no time, Isabella has managed to become a sensation with her pretty face, a great figure which is emphasized by the gorgeous outfits she wears.

Just like her sister Katrina, Isabella too seems to have a great style sense and a superb figure. Bollywood will be receiving in its midst a new diva in fashion, as revealed by her pictures which have already appeared. There were rumors in the past that she would be acting opposite Salman Khan in a film launched by Farah Khan. In November 2011 a project was expected to go on the floor, however for some reason, the project did not come through.

Another rumor that made the rounds was that a production company is in the process of being launched by Katrina Kaif. Under this company’s aegis, the film that would be launched first would feature Isabella. However this too, is yet to materialize. No matter who is going to launch her or where she is going to be launched, one thing for sure is that Isabella has already caused a sensation.

A decision has already been made that this fashionista will debut in Dr.Cabby, a Canadian film and not a Bollywood film. The film is about a medical student from India who goes to Canada but the local medical school does not grant her admission. For a living, the medical student has to drive taxis. Isabella has bagged the role of second lead and is to work opposite Kunal Nayyar, the famous actor from ‘The Big Bang Theory’ a popular TV series in America. The big shock is that Salman Khan who had a relationship with Katrina Kaif since just a few months ago is producing the film. It has been Isabelle’s desire to take up a small role first before making a full-fledged entry in the Bollywood industry.

The Trial Of Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt’s trial and judgments have been on for many years and the final judgment came up two weeks ago where he has to serve a five year imprisonment. Since he had served sixteen months earlier in the jail in the year 1995, his present term is reduced to three and half years. In 1993 Sanjay Dutt was arrested under the TADA for illegal possession of arms. He defended by saying he had to protect himself but things were not to sail smoothly. After many petitions and appeals the final decision came on March 21st that he complete the remaining years of his term in jail. Initially he was stated to have accepted to serve his term. A few days back he seems to have asked for more time and it is to finish off his projects like Policegiri, Zanjeer and Peekay.
Sanjay Dutt is doing two shifts to finish off his projects before his actual jail term. Film fraternity has rallied around this star and most of them rushed to his residence on hearing the news. Petitions from various quarters were sent but in vain. The arch rival khans Salman and Shahrukh are good friends of Sanjay Dutt and both have visited him. Shahrukh stayed around two hours sharing the grief of the family. The entire unit of Policegiri has stood by this actor who most say is one of the best human beings in the industry. The law has done justice in not giving any special treatment for celebrities- all are equal in the eyes of law and that Sanjay Dutt learnt it the hard way, is a lesson to be learnt for all the rich and the famous.

Dance Baby Dance

While this is not something to cheer for in the Bollywood circle there is something to be happy about and that is camaraderie that is seen these days. There were days when only select women like Helen, Bindu would show their shapely legs and entice men with sensuous dance numbers. The heroine were homely girls and the sexy women had a small role that a villainous touch. Then came the days, not so long back, when the heroines shed the homely look and were game to do the raunchy numbers for their films. A time when an item number by the heroine was mandatory and the audience were disappointed if they did not see one. This continues, but stars have gone a step ahead. Here  you have Aamir Khan, HritikRoshan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and the like shaking their booties for films where they do not play a role . What a guest appearance and all for friendship’s sake?
