Dancehall is going to get bigger and soon. It's a prediction I have based on some observations not least that hip hop needs a new direction.
Really pleased that MUZU's first track tis week was a dancehall track in a big summertime compilation..

Glen Maxwell shows maximum taste with these sunglasses in the IPL 2014 as he threw a massive throw and incredibly took off the stumps ! you can watch the whole match again here or look at 1hr:10s here. They look like Oakley radarlocks.
I have tried to catch as much as I can of the 2014 IPL which for me is the format that will be the saviour of the sport of cricket. t20 is more exciting and it May have been a week more before I write now but I just feel compelled AGAIN by David Miller shoring up an amazing run chase as the Kings 11 face the Rajastan Royals. Of course those that know know that the man doing the business is also Glenn Maxwell. He has made some amazing shots in the teams chasing KKR and today RR for big totals. Single handedly Maxwell was doing enough (a load) but as in this format you go for it risk takes its natural course and a fine 5 I think was as much as he got. An amazing total given the bowling was good despite the shorter boundaries here in Abu Dhabi.
Yes they have brought cricket to Arabia another signal that this is a tournaent that does matter. You might also like the cplt20 when the caribeans do the same format in their style. It's not as big yet but I dont doubt it will become massive too. So the kings 11 punjab are looking like an amazing team. The scourge of the saffers and pomes is the bowling of Mitchell Johnson today he could do nothing with the equally absorbing talent of the young 19 year old royal called Samson, this is the guy that gave the again large total to be chased. I feel for the kings 11 and that they may deserve the odd game where they can have a break and chase just 145 or so...this they might bring up with 5 overs to spare - it begs the question what do you need to score to beat them ? Watson had a good innings finally after 2 lucky early escapes as Miller dropped him ! Such is a good few hours spent enjoying this tournament.
David Miller just pipped Glenn Maxwell to the yes bank maximum sixes aware as they both had 6 of them this game (one over had 3 for Miller !!!) but Miller had the longest. Maybe this seemed harsh on Maxwell as David also earned the kanna keep calm award immediately as he had still a big run rate to chase around 12 with few overs remamining. In the end he made it look easy but with the No 1 batsman not finding the middle for the kings 11 it was a tall order. He did it. I would say single handedly he led them to victory but Glenn Maxwell deserves a lot of the credit if not more for getting them into an unlikely winning position again. I think we will have to go a long way to see a game so good again in this tournament. And kings 11 gave us already 2 of the best so far. Note that Glenn made man of the match to no surprise. Watch this team !
I have long thought (maybe a couple of years) that it is a matter of time before we have clothing that has a 'standard' mount inside say the jacket or similar. It may be that on your walk home nothing happened. But like many cyclists will tell you its for the days that something does happen that you wish you had the evidence. Already on cars it would have given my friend a chance at getting to the responsible (irresponsible driver ?) person who's lorry shed a brick which bounced into his car. Video evidence is great for cars. A video should just also detect motion so that it turns on and off as needed and I found perhaps the perfect video product from china for this. I digress slightly as this is about personal mounting systems in the videos case a backpack. Do check the cyclists in London fighting back by having bike mounted go pro cameras getting motorists and bus drivers in digital reality should they decide to ignore you on the road. Equally you may be the motorist and are able to show that it was not your fault. Yes folks video evidence in car in person is a new thing to come. I think car manufactureres will start to build this in in time.
SO staying positive or more so CREATIVE this video shows how to take PVC piping and connectors to make a frame and hold your go pro or other camera. I'm not sure you need to glue it (the inner frame) but would wait and make final adjustments before doing that. I also thought that the arm looked way too long , needed for 3rd person looking at yourself. I prefer outward looking capture as a personal thing anyway it looks weird looking at yourself walking in amazing scenery when the audience simply wants to see what you see anyway.

People often see this as a glamorous job option, and do not take into account that it is actually exceptionally hard and tiring work. You can be on your feet all day and if you are not having a particularly bright and breezy day yourself it is tiring having to be outwardly sociable and friendly for your clients. It can however be a very satisfying career choice for many people so here are some things to think about if you are considering it.
How To Get Your Foot In The Door:
There are various ways to become a Beauty Therapist. If you are just starting out in your working life, you might consider an apprenticeship. These will teach you the skills that you need in order to be successful in your chosen career. For more specific information on apprenticeships visit http://www.apprenticeships.org.uk. Alternatively, find yourself a position within a spa or salon where they are happy to provide on the job training and pay towards the qualifications that you will need. On top of the more standard Diplomas in Beauty Therapy many salons are also happy to send you on more specialised training such as teeth whitening courses or epilation techniques. Another option is to send yourself on the relevant courses and then go mobile allowing you to dictate your own hours and services.
Why Would You Want To Be A Beautician?
There are a few reasons that come to mind for wanting to be a beautician. First and foremost for me I think is the fact that it makes other people feel good about themselves. Having a part in something like that leads to huge job satisfaction and you end up spending a lot of time around very happy people. Another reason for being a beautician is that it allows you to show off some of your creative skills if it is hairdressing, makeup or nails that you might specialise in. At the cutting edge of the industry there can be an element of being an artist, and creative talent is appreciated.
Six ideas for a first date..
There are certain qualities that turn a date from merely okay (or disastrous) to fantastic. One of these is, of course, the person you're meeting, but the atmosphere and choice of activity can make a huge difference too. Though much dating advice is geared towards those in their twenties or thirties, those of us who are more mature appreciate a different kind of date to the younger crowd. Here are some ideas for potentially fantastic first dates.
Brunch
Less intimate than a dinner and much earlier in the day, a brunch allows you to chat and get to know one another in the daytime. You can claim another appointment if you need to get away, or suggest another coffee if it's going swimmingly.
The cinema
A traditional first date for any age group. Advantages include something to talk about over a drink afterwards, disadvantages include not being able to talk during the film and possibly being stuck watching a dreadful film with someone you don't know. If it's truly dreadful though that does make a good talking point.
Shopping
Most people would run in horror at the idea, but if you have a shared interest that lends itself to browsing it can be a great way to get to know one another's likes and dislikes. Readers can go book shopping for hours, for instance. Food lover? Farmer's market. Christmas enthusiast? German Christmas market! To find people to go with Click here.
