Cold Spring? How To Stay Stylish Through This Long Winter
It seems the weather isn’t going in our favour these days, with all the snow and wintery weather still looming. It’s meant to be spring with sun and blue skies! Instead we are waking up to a fresh blanket of snow every morning. This just isn’t on. What about all those spring pieces we have all gone out and bought in preparation for the nicer weather? How are we meant to wear them when it’s minus temperatures outside? A spring dress does not match well with three inches of snow, I think we all agree on that.
So how do you save those spring pieces from being forgotten about? Well its time to dig out a few of those winter woollies you thought you had put away for another year. Take a look at some of our ideas for cold spring style.
Jumper, dress – Lovarni
Leggings – River Island
Boots – Clarks
If you bought a spring dress for the new season, then warm it up with a chunky jumper thrown over the top and a pair of plain black leggings and some cute ankle boots. This should keep any late winter chills at bay.
Skirt, top, cardigan – Lovarni
Tights – Topshop
Shoes - ASOS
If you treat yourself to a new skirt for spring, then why not smarten it up for work with a simple black cardigan, thick tights and some ballet flats.
Top, skirt – Lovarni
Shoes – Shuphoric
Bag – ASOS
Instead of bearing your stomach with your newly bought crop top, why not pair with a high waisted skirt for a warmer outfit. Pair with some high heels and accessorise with a clutch for the perfect night out look.
Top, jeans, coat – Lovarni
Boots - ASOS
Spring is the perfect time for t shirts, but not if it’s snowing. Add some warming pieces such as a pair of jeans, a glam coat and some high leg boots for a stylish winter to spring look.
