At the Stardust Awards Amitabh Bachchan, the 70 year old megastar performed the Jumma Chumma song on Saturday at the gala night. When Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan, Bollywood’s leading heroines joined him, he really felt overwhelmed. When he asked the audience whom he would have to kiss while doing the Jumma, all the ladies in the front row ran up to the stage including, Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra and he actually gave them a peck each. Amitabh Bachchan also picked up a Stardust Award for his son Abhishek Bachchan for his role in Bol Bachchan as best actor romance and comedy since he was out on a shoot in New York.

The team of ‘Gunday’ has been shooting in Kolkata and creating ripples there for the last many weeks, with sequences that are packed with action. A scene was being shot in a muddy place when a piece of glass pierced Ranveer’s foot.

A source said that he was fine and would be back on the sets the next day for the shooting. Gunday is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar starring Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor as the lead male stars.

Ranbir Kapoor, the prince charming is known to have a sense of mischief that is indeed unique. This charmer who also has a funny side is also vouched to be a big prankster. ON the sets of JJHD – Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, directed by Karan Johar, in which Aditya and Kalki are working, he played various pranks. In a song sequence, Aditya and Kalki were required to take a drink from shot glasses and as usual, water was poured into the glasses.

But Ranbir played the prank of having the water replaced with actual vodka. Imagine the shock when they drank that ‘water’. Once his prank was realized, both Aditya and Kalki also doubled up with laughter. Both had priceless expressions on their faces.

Ajay Feels That Himmatwala Could Be Improved So He Does The Film

A lot is being spoken about Himmatwala, the remake of the 1983 super hit movie. Jeetendra and Sridevi starred in the original film in the lead role. In their careers, this film went on to be one of the biggest hits! From the Bollywood industry, there were mixed reactions when Sajid Khan decided to make the remake. Sridevi, the heroine of the yester years, made a comment that the film was not a classic like the old film ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ and hence there is no need to make a remake of Himmatwala. The crew and cast while reacting to this remarked that they would not have even touched that movie if it had been a classic. In fact, Sajid Khan’s remarks were that the film is just a rewrite and not at all a remake.
The belief of the team is that there should not be any remake of a classic as they are generally not fully equipped with all the essentials required to make it. The team believes that they would never be able to beat a film like Mughal-e-Azam and hence would not even try to consider a remake. They would only try to make films that have ingredients that can be bettered. Sajid has always been a diehard fan of films made in the 80s and has had the passion for making a remake in the best possible manner. From the old flick, Sajid has retained a few of the songs and scenes while a different scale was used to shoot the film. Ajay Devgan is nervous about reactions from fans, though! But Sajid Khan feels that the film will surely entertain the audience.
