Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers and outside testing coverage suggest this ThermoMate 1500W patio heater is valued for fast heat, flexible mounting, and easy remote/timer control. Buyers and reviewers commonly praise the 9 heating levels, IP65 waterproof rating, and the convenience of plug-in operation for patios, garages, and covered outdoor spaces.
Common complaints across review-style discussions are that coverage is best in smaller or semi-enclosed areas, so it is not a whole-yard solution. Some users also note that performance depends a lot on placement, weather exposure, and whether the space is truly covered.
On Reddit and forum-style discussions, the main takeaway is that it seems like a practical electric option for people who want quiet heat without propane, but expectations should stay realistic about range and warmth in open wind.
