Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers say the ANSIKE Soil Heating Cable 49 Ft helps protect plants from frost and keeps soil warm for cold frames, greenhouse beds, and base-of-plant heating. One Amazon reviewer reported that it worked well with frost blankets, but noted that the wire must not touch itself and that the long continuous loop can be tricky to lay out in a small area.
Amazon shoppers also praise the cable for making a noticeable difference in plant protection and early growth, with comments that it "worked like a charm" when covered with a little soil and wrapped around plants. Overall, reviewers on Amazon describe it as effective for gardeners who want steady bottom heat and better winter survival for tender plants.
