Heat Storm Tradesman 1500 Watt Weatherproof Infrared Heater, Remote
About this product
About this item Instant Directional Infrared Heat – Delivers focused warmth to people, objects, and surfaces within the heater’s beam instead of trying to heat the entire surrounding air space.
Great for Personal Comfort Zones – Ideal for patios, balconies, workshops, garages, workbenches, and seating areas where targeted heat is needed most.
Space-Saving Wall or Ceiling Mount – Mounts securely to the wall or ceiling to keep floors clear while allowing heat to be directed toward your preferred area.
Weatherproof IPX4-Rated Design – Built for outdoor and utility-space use, with protection against splashing water for added durability in covered or semi-covered areas.
Quiet Carbon Fiber Heating with Remote – Long-lasting carbon fiber infrared bulb operates silently; includes molded end caps for easy angle adjustment, an 8-foot power cord, and remote control.
Editor's Take
Amazon and retailer reviews suggest this heater gets mixed feedback: some customers say it works well for screened patios, garages, and small outdoor spaces, while others say it does not heat larger areas effectively. Heat Storm’s own review pages include praise for quick warmth and convenience, but also complaints that the unit can feel underpowered for bigger rooms. Walmart feedback is notably negative, with one verified buyer saying two units failed before a year. Chewy reviews for the same Tradesman line are more positive, especially for use in sheds and coops, where buyers liked the timer and steady heat.
Overall, the product seems best suited for smaller enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces rather than large garages or open areas. Common themes across sources are easy setup, useful remote/timer controls, and good spot heating, balanced against concerns about limited heating range and durability.
