Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max by Anker Wireless Earbuds, AI Note-Taker
About this product
About this item Guinness World Records: soundcore Liberty 5 Pro was certified by Guinness World Records in April 2026 as the "Highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for TWS earbuds (objective test)." Liberty 5 Pro Max features the same earbud units, delivering identical call performance.
AI NOTE-TAKER & Subscription: The smart charging case records in-person meetings and interviews via its built-in mic, then transcribes and generates AI summaries with key points and action items. In-room audio only—does not capture online meetings, video calls, or phone calls. Manage workflows on the go via the soundcore app (iOS/Android), or use the Web portal with "Ask Anka" AI assistant for desktop efficiency. The free Starter Plan includes 120 min/month of AI transcription for 24 months. Upgrade to Pro for 1,200 min/month ($15.99/mo, $69.99/6mo, or $99.99/yr), or Unlimited for all-day transcription ($239.99/yr). You can also buy extra minutes anytime.
STRICT BUSINESS-GRADE PRIVACY: The trusted audio choice for professionals handling confidential information. Your conversations are secured with local AES-256 encryption. Without cloud sync enabled, temporary cloud files will be immediately deleted once you receive the audio transcription results, ensuring no audio and transcription content is retained. Built to the security standards with ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2 Type 1, HIPAA, EN 18031, EN 303645, and NIST IR 8425 compliance, the soundcore app and Liberty 5 Pro Max deliver uncompromising data privacy and peace of mind.
Effortless Screen Control: Features a large 1.78" AMOLED display that lets you access the AI Voice Recorder, adjust ANC, and manage earbud settings—all from the screen. Add custom wallpapers to make your charging case truly yours.
Whisper-Clear Calls: Equipped with 10 sensors and the Thus AI Chip, enjoy crystal-clear calls in 100 dB+ noisy environments or even quiet rooms. Whisper, speak, or shout—your voice is always heard, anywhere you go.
Instant Pure Silence: 100% more effective noise cancellation than our previous flagship model. Powered by 8 sensors and the Thus AI Chip, the earbuds process 384K+ noise signals per second, blocking subway, office, or street chaos for instant silence.
Your Signature Sound: HearID 5.0 with personalized EQ and an AI Audio Enhancer deliver sound precisely tuned to your ears. No more compromises with generic, standard audio.
Lag-Free Voice Control: With 20 built-in commands, you can skip songs, take calls, and adjust the volume—offline processing ensures zero delay.
Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers are not directly available in the gathered results, but professional reviews and community posts paint a clear picture of the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max. Reviewers at Gizmodo, SoundGuys, Tom’s Guide, PCMag UK, Expert Reviews, Cult of Mac, and CNET consistently praise the strong ANC, excellent call quality, and the feature-rich charging case with AI note-taking and transcription support.
On Reddit, users describe mixed experiences: some call the hype real and say the earbuds excel for calls, while others report that the audio quality is underwhelming or note that they are deciding whether the comfort and multipoint performance justify keeping them.
The main downsides mentioned across sources are the high price, a bass-heavy or merely very good-but-not-great sound signature, and the subscription/freemium aspect tied to some AI note-taking features. Several reviewers also note that the case and AI tools are useful for professionals, but less compelling if the AI features are not needed.
Overall sentiment is positive for buyers who want top-tier call quality, ANC, comfort, and a smart case, but more cautious for listeners focused primarily on pure sound quality or value.
