Editor's Take
Amazon-style and third-party review coverage for the Skullcandy Dime 3 points to a strong value pick with punchy bass, compact size, and useful extras like Tile tracking and transparency mode. Reviewers also note that battery life is solid for the price, with claims around 8 hours per charge and about 20 hours total with the case.
Common praise across reviewers includes the low price, portable design, improved connectivity, and easy everyday use. PCMag says the Dime 3 are a reasonable value thanks to their bass, transparency mode, and Tile integration, while YouTube reviewers frequently highlight the good battery life and feature set for budget earbuds.
Common complaints are the lack of active noise canceling, weaker passive isolation than some rivals, and sound quality that is good for budget use but not class-leading. Some reviewers also mention that the mic and noise handling are acceptable rather than outstanding.
On Reddit and forum-style discussions, users typically frame the Dime 3 as a good inexpensive backup or daily-carry option rather than an audiophile choice. Overall sentiment is that they offer a lot for the money, especially for casual listening and commuting.
