Editor's Take
Amazon and retailer reviews suggest the Cleer ARC 5 is strongest on comfort, situational awareness, battery life, and feature set. Target reviewers praise the premium sound for an open-ear design, good fit, and long battery life, while third-party reviews note the sound can still feel limited versus sealed earbuds and the volume may not satisfy everyone.
On Reddit, users describe it as a major step up in open-ear performance and some call it a top-tier option for workouts and all-day wear. Review sites are split but generally agree the ARC 5 delivers an unusually complete open-ear package, with frequent praise for the touchscreen case, Dolby/THX spatial audio, and secure fit.
Common complaints include price, some sound leakage, and bass that is better than expected but still not deep enough for listeners who want strong low-end impact. Overall, the product seems best for people who value awareness, comfort, and features over maximum isolation or bass-heavy tuning.
