Editor's Take
The VIVO Walnut TV Cabinet is a stylish way to conceal a television, but shoppers should read the product contents carefully before buying. Walmart reviewers strongly criticized the listing because the cabinet does not include the MOUNT-E-UP65A lift mechanism. Both Walmart reviews called the omission misleading, with one buyer saying the lift had to be purchased separately after assembly had begun.
When paired with the correct VIVO lift, reviewers describe a smooth, quiet setup for compatible 32- to 55-inch televisions. The walnut finish and slim profile receive positive attention: review coverage praises its attractive appearance and 16-inch depth for smaller living spaces. The cabinet uses engineered or particle-board construction rather than solid wood, and reviewers note that the finish looks polished but the material feels less substantial than real hardwood.
Assembly is a recurring concern. Reviewers mention unlabeled screw packages, occasional missing hardware, and several hours of installation time. The cabinet is also heavy, so planning the placement before assembly is worthwhile. Some coverage reports storage space for components such as a router, game console, or soundbar, while other reviews warn that the top panel should not carry excessive weight.
Overall, the cabinet offers an appealing walnut look and a discreet solution for hiding a compatible TV, but it is best suited to shoppers who already own—or intentionally plan to buy—the separate MOUNT-E-UP65A lift. Confirming the package contents, checking TV and weight compatibility, and allowing extra time for assembly can help avoid the main complaints reported by Walmart reviewers.
