Editor's Take
Editor's Take: The VIVO MOUNT-E-UP65A is a practical motorized lift for hiding a TV inside a cabinet or custom enclosure. Amazon reviewers praise its straightforward installation, sturdy construction, strong motor, quiet operation, and useful remote-controlled height presets. Several say it works especially well for movie nights and that the lift feels steady during operation.
Amazon reviewers also value the unit’s flexibility for DIY projects, noting that building or adapting a cabinet around it is manageable with the included instructions. Some buyers report purchasing a second unit after being satisfied with the first, and Amazon Canada reviewers describe the assembly as simple and the product as good value.
Feedback is not uniformly positive. Amazon reviewers report occasional problems with the lift stopping before reaching the desired height, failing to retract fully, or becoming unresponsive with beep codes. Some also mention wobble near the upper end of travel and mixed experiences with the remote. These comments suggest careful attention to TV size, mounting position, and available travel is worthwhile.
Overall, Amazon reviewers view the MOUNT-E-UP65A as a well-built, quiet, and comparatively affordable solution for a concealed-TV project, with installation and motor performance receiving the strongest praise. Buyers should be comfortable with a cabinet or enclosure build and should verify that the screen’s dimensions and required viewing height fit the lift’s travel range.
