Editor's Take
Editor's Take: The FITUEYES Eiffel Series floor stand is a stylish, substantial option for shoppers mounting a 75- to 100-inch television without wall installation. Amazon reviewers praise its sturdy construction, modern furniture-like appearance, small footprint, and ability to support large screens securely. Several say it holds their 86-inch television well and appreciate the walnut shelves and weighted feel.
Assembly is generally described as straightforward, although Amazon reviewers note that placing the TV on the mount is a two-person job. The open shelving adds useful space for components, but some Amazon reviewers say the shelves could be deeper for larger AV equipment. One reviewer also found that the small vertical wood piece behind the television blocked an optical-audio connection and had to remove it after taking the TV down.
Amazon reviewers like the overall quality and sleek design, while noting that the faux-wood laminate can scratch fairly easily. FITUEYES reviewers likewise praise the stand’s stability, attractive wood-and-metal construction, easy assembly, and suitability for very large screens. The open design keeps the stand from feeling bulky, though it offers little enclosed storage and the shelves can show dust.
Overall, this stand is best suited to shoppers who want a stable, elevated centerpiece for a very large TV, plus visible shelf space for media equipment. Its main tradeoffs are the need for careful installation, limited shelf depth and concealed storage, and a finish that deserves protection from scratches.
