Editor's Take
The Signature Design by Ashley Altari sleeper sofa combines a contemporary look with practical overnight seating. YouTube reviewers describe the Alloy Gray upholstery as attractive and comfortable, with a soft chenille-like feel, sleek track arms, plush cushions, and reversible accent pillows. The sofa’s pull-out sleeper is described as roomy and suitable for guests.
YouTube reviewers praise the sofa’s appearance, comfortable seating, and easy-to-coordinate gray color. They also note that the sleeper mattress is better suited to occasional use than everyday sleeping: its relatively thin profile and metal support frame do not provide the comfort of a dedicated bed. For a night or two, reviewers say it gets the job done, but frequent overnight guests may want an added mattress pad.
Practical details receive mixed feedback. The upholstery is described as easy to clean, and the back covers can be removed for washing, though air-drying is recommended. Reviewers also point out that the included ottoman does not open for blanket storage and that the feet are plastic rather than wood.
Overall, YouTube reviewers present the Altari as a stylish, comfortable living-room sofa with useful sleeper functionality for occasional guests. Its strongest qualities are its contemporary design, soft gray upholstery, and comfortable sofa seating; its main compromise is the pull-out mattress, which is functional but not ideal for regular sleeping.
