Signature Design by Ashley Faux Leather Power Reclining Sofa, Slate

Editor's Take: The Signature Design by Ashley Next-Gen DuraPella power reclining sofa earns praise for its upscale appearance, supportive seating, and useful power features. Amazon reviewers describe it as cozy, well-made, easy to assemble, and a good value, with easy-clean upholstery, independent headrests, and built-in phone charging adding everyday convenience.

The sofa's faux-leather upholstery gives it a polished look while remaining practical for spills and household messes. YouTube reviewers highlight the smooth power recline, near-flat positioning, adjustable headrests, and zero-gravity-style comfort. One reviewer says the sofa remained scratch-free after two years and describes it as extremely comfortable, while another praises its modern styling, water resistance, and family-friendly features.

Comfort feedback is not universal. Some Amazon reviewers find the cushions supportive, particularly for back comfort, but others say the seating feels firm or lacks cushioning. A few report that the reclining mechanism is noisy, that the upholstery can feel cool, and that the sofa's height may leave shorter users' feet off the floor. One Amazon reviewer also notes that the headrest and footrest controls do not operate fully independently.

Overall, Amazon reviewers and YouTube reviewers present this as a stylish, feature-rich reclining sofa best suited to shoppers who value powered relaxation, easy-care upholstery, charging convenience, and firm support. Buyers who prefer deeply plush cushions or very quiet reclining should consider the mixed comfort and noise feedback before purchasing.
