Serta Glendale 90.2" Queen Size Wall-Hugging Convertible Sofa, Dreamcoil Comfort, Chenille Fabric, Navy

The Serta Glendale is a spacious queen sleeper sofa designed for rooms where floor space is tight. Target reviewers praise its attractive appearance, calling it a comfortable sofa that does not look like a traditional pullout and appreciating the wall-hugging conversion design for accommodating overnight guests without pulling the sofa far from the wall.

Reviewers at Exponation and Of Zen and Computing highlight the easy lift-and-pull conversion, the soft chenille upholstery, and the supportive Dreamcoil mattress. Their testing found the seating cushions firm but comfortable and able to retain their shape, while the 6.5-inch mattress provided more substantial support than many conventional sleeper-sofa beds. The sofa needs only about an inch of clearance from the wall, making that feature especially useful in apartments, guest rooms, and compact living areas.

Additional product reviewers praise the high-density foam, natural wood legs, queen-size sleeping surface, and sturdy construction. Hometosight notes that the navy chenille has a rich texture and that the removable back cushions simplify cleaning, though the seat cushions are attached. Reviewers also describe the sofa as wide enough for comfortable daytime seating and suitable for two overnight guests.

There are practical tradeoffs. Reviewers note that the sofa is heavy, assembly requires two people, and some reports mention shipping damage. Of Zen and Computing also flags a possible gap between the seat cushions. The firm seating and substantial 210-pound package may not suit shoppers seeking a very soft sofa or an easy one-person setup.

Overall, the Serta Glendale stands out for combining a full-size queen bed, supportive mattress, and genuinely space-saving wall-hugging mechanism. It is a strong choice for shoppers who prioritize guest sleeping space and compact-room functionality, provided they have help with delivery and assembly.
