Shark Stratos 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop, White, RV2720ZE | Sonic Mopping (100x/Min), NeverTouch Base (Self-Empty, Refill & Pad Wash/Dry), AutoLift, Edge Detect, 360° LiDAR, HEPA
About this product
About this item UP TO 30 DAYS OF HANDS-FREE CLEANING: The NeverTouch Base automatically empties debris, refills the water tank, and washes and dries the mop for up to 30 days. It also features HEPA filtration and an Anti-Allergen Seal to capture dust and allergens.
ULTRA-POWERFUL SUCTION: This Robot is primed for powerful, whole-home performance on both carpets and hard floors.
TACKLES STAINS: Sonic Mopping scrubs hard floors up to 100 times per minute with the antimicrobial mop. You can also easily mark any carpeted areas in the SharkClean app to ensure they are designated vacuum-only zones.
CLEANS EDGES & CORNERS: Edge Detect uses blasts of air and corner recognition to pull debris into the cleaning path and remove it from surfaces.
PRECISION NAVIGATION & HOME MAPPING: 360° LiDAR vision quickly and accurately maps your home so your Robot can methodically clean—detecting and avoiding objects in its path and adapting to everyday changes in the home.
Editor's Take
Amazon and Best Buy reviewer sentiment for the Shark Stratos RV2720ZE is generally positive, with praise for strong suction, effective pet hair pickup, quiet operation, and the convenience of the self-emptying/self-cleaning base. Amazon reviewers (via the product listing ecosystem) and Best Buy customers also note that the robot is easy to live with for routine cleaning and well suited to mixed flooring.
Common complaints appear around the software side rather than raw cleaning power. Best Buy customers mention a basic app experience, limited multi-floor mapping, and occasional object-detection issues, while other review writeups mention Wi‑Fi setup troubles, docking problems, and the robot sometimes getting stuck or missing edges.
Reddit and forum-style discussions highlighted in search results lean toward the same pattern: owners who prioritize low-maintenance cleaning and pet-hair pickup are happiest, while buyers with cluttered layouts or picky expectations for navigation and obstacle avoidance report more frustration.
Overall, the product’s reputation is that of a strong cleaner with standout hands-free maintenance features, but software, navigation, and reliability can be uneven depending on the home layout and setup experience.
