Editor's Take
Amazon-style retail feedback and other reviews describe this Optimum Nutrition casein flavor as creamy, dessert-like, and filling, with many people saying it works well as a bedtime protein. Reviewers on Walmart, Kroger, iHerb, and a dedicated protein review site praise the chocolate peanut butter taste and note that it helps keep them full longer than whey.
Common positives include good mixability for a casein, satisfying texture in shakes or recipes, and strong perceived value for overnight use. A few reviewers mention that it can be thick, that the price has climbed, or that packaging can arrive damaged.
On Reddit and forum-style discussions, the most consistent themes are the same: good flavor for casein, effective satiety, and the need to blend it well because it is naturally dense.
Video reviews on YouTube also focus on the chocolate peanut butter flavor, the 4 lb tub, and whether it is worth buying for slow-digesting nighttime protein.
