Editor's Take
Amazon-style retail feedback and review aggregators suggest this BSN Syntha-6 Edge Chocolate Milkshake protein is praised most for taste, creamy texture, and easy mixing. Multiple reviewers describe the chocolate flavor as rich and dessert-like, while a smaller number say it is quite sweet and can feel pricey for the amount of protein.
Target reviews also lean positive, with customers calling the chocolate shake flavor rich and creamy rather than overly sweet. iHerb reviewers similarly highlight the taste and texture, but note the product has become expensive and is best bought on discount.
On Reddit and forums, the most common themes are the same: strong flavor, smooth mixability, and a “treat” style protein rather than a lean macro-first option. A review blog and store-review pages also echo that it is valued more for taste and consistency than for a best-in-class ingredient profile.
YouTube results include several relevant review videos specifically about Syntha-6 Edge, including a Chocolate Milkshake taste test/review and broader BSN Syntha-6 Edge reviews. The clearest match video IDs found were CtTp6lUWLGM and AJ_7DY1VVhs.
