Editor's Take
Amazon-style retail results suggest this Animal Whey Isolate flavor is generally well liked for protein content and convenience, while some buyers complain about the strawberry taste being bitter or an acquired taste. A Walmart listing for the strawberry 2 lb version shows a very high average rating, but at least one review there says the flavor was bitter and they would not buy again.
On Reddit, users describe the product as solid overall, noting good protein-per-serving and acceptable mixability, while also pointing out clumping and that the strawberry flavor can be hit-or-miss. The same Reddit discussion suggests some buyers would recommend it, especially if they prefer classic flavors.
YouTube results include several reviews of Animal Whey/Animal Isolate Loaded Whey, but the most clearly relevant video evidence found here was for Animal Whey Protein in general rather than this exact strawberry flavor. Those videos tend to describe the protein as decent to good, with taste often rated as average rather than exceptional.
- Common positives: high protein content, decent value, overall solid quality.
- Common negatives: strawberry flavor may taste bitter or unusual, and some users mention clumping.
- Best fit: buyers who prioritize macros over dessert-like flavor.
