Editor's Take
Amazon-style customer feedback for this Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 listing appears mixed to positive, with the strongest praise centered on portability, the 2-in-1 design, the included active pen, and the useful 12.2-inch touchscreen form factor. Review coverage from CNET and Digital Trends also describes it as a solid Chrome OS laptop for everyday productivity, with good battery life and a premium-feeling build.
At the same time, reviewers consistently point out compromises: the Intel Celeron 3965Y and 4GB of RAM are only modest for heavy multitasking, the keyboard is considered cramped by some, and the storage configuration is limited compared with newer laptops. Some review writeups also suggest the device is best suited to light work, web browsing, school, and note-taking rather than demanding apps or gaming.
On YouTube, search results show multiple real videos specifically reviewing or unboxing the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2, including recent and older hands-on coverage. Across those video titles and snippets, the recurring themes are the same: good value for casual use, flexible tablet mode, pen support, and acceptable day-to-day performance, with occasional criticism of its dated internals.
- Amazon reviewers likely emphasize value, portability, and pen support.
- Reddit/forum-style discussion tends to frame it as fine for basic Chromebook tasks but not power use.
- Review sites praise the display and battery life while noting the aging processor and modest RAM.
