Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers for the Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024) Dune say it feels premium, is very portable, and has strong battery life, with the bright touchscreen and keyboard often praised. Common complaints include limited ports, higher price, and occasional app compatibility concerns tied to Snapdragon-based Windows laptops.
On Reddit and in forum-style discussions, users typically focus on the same themes: excellent build quality and battery life, but caution about software compatibility and whether the AI/Copilot+ features matter in daily use. Review videos on YouTube largely echo that it is a polished laptop with impressive efficiency, while noting the base-model configuration and ARM app support as the main tradeoffs.
- Amazon reviewers: premium design, good battery, comfortable keyboard, portable form factor.
- Reddit users: strong everyday usability, but mixed opinions on ARM compatibility and value.
- Review blogs and YouTube reviewers: very good battery and display, with limited ports and app support as the main downsides.
