Editor's Take
Amazon and retailer listings suggest this Acer Chromebook Plus 516 configuration is well-liked for its large 16-inch display, solid everyday performance, and long battery life. Best Buy customer feedback for the non-renewed model is especially positive, with users praising speed, screen quality, and ease of use, while noting a few drawbacks like a plastic-feeling build and no keyboard backlight.
CNET and How-To Geek both describe the CB516-1H-31UE as a capable basic Chromebook with an Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, suited to browsing, streaming, and productivity. CNET highlights strong performance and battery life, but also mentions some chassis flex and weak audio. How-To Geek similarly says performance is smooth for ChromeOS tasks, but the keyboard layout/design may be frustrating for some users.
On the renewed/refurbished side, Amazon Renewed and retail listings show little direct review volume for this exact ASIN, so the best available signal comes from the closely matched retail model and third-party reviews. That means the main expected tradeoffs are good value and big-screen usability, with possible concerns about refurbishment condition, build quality, and missing features like backlit keys.
No real YouTube watch URLs for this exact renewed ASIN were clearly available in the search results, so there are no confirmed video IDs to return.
