ADT Blu Indoor Camera Home Security System, 2K Video, Plan Required | Door/window sensor, Motion detector, Night vision, 2-way audio, Pet camera, ADT+ App control

Review coverage for the ADT Blu Indoor Camera is limited, but the available writeups are mostly focused on ADT Blu as a system rather than this exact camera. Security review sites say the camera offers 2K video, motion alerts, and app-based live viewing, but many core features require a paid plan. Several reviewers also note that ADT’s subscription pricing and feature gating are the biggest drawbacks, especially compared with lower-cost DIY camera systems.

Across review blogs, the most consistent positives are image quality, smart-detection features, and the fact that the system has no long-term contract. The most consistent negatives are the need for a subscription to unlock storage and live view, plus complaints that ADT’s app and setup experience can be less polished than competitors. CNET is notably critical of the overall Blu lineup, saying the pricing is high for what it offers, while Tom’s Guide, PCMag, and Digital Trends describe the camera experience more favorably but still mention the subscription dependence.

No clear Amazon review sampling, Reddit discussion, or forum thread specific to this exact ASIN was surfaced in the available results, so the strongest signals come from professional review sites and a YouTube review of the broader Blue by ADT line.
