Editor's Take
Amazon and retailer reviews suggest the Skullcandy Jib True 2 is a solid budget earbud with strong battery life, a secure fit, and generally good sound for the price. Best Buy and Walmart reviewers frequently praise the comfort, battery performance, and convenience for everyday use, while some note lower max volume or a bulkier fit.
Reddit comments are mixed but often positive: users say the earbuds are comfortable, good for running and audiobooks, and deliver clear sound with noticeable bass. A few users report quality-control issues such as a faulty button, charging problems, or durability concerns after drops or sweat exposure.
Consumer Reports describes the sound quality as very good overall, though with some sonic quirks. A review blog also calls the Jib True 2 comfortable and decent sounding for the price, reinforcing the general view that it offers good value rather than premium performance.
Overall, the pattern across sources is that this model is liked for comfort, battery life, and value, but it is not the best choice if maximum volume, premium build quality, or absolute reliability are top priorities.
