JBL Soundgear Sense - Wireless Open-Ear Headphones - White

Amazon and other review sites suggest the JBL Soundgear Sense is praised for strong, bass-forward sound, a secure open-ear fit, and good comfort for sports and outdoor use. Reviewers also repeatedly mention tradeoffs: the fit can be bulky for some, battery life is only decent rather than standout, and the open design lets in a lot of outside noise.

PCMag, Tom's Guide, Pocket-lint, and Expert Reviews all describe the sound positively overall, with comments about energetic or rich audio and effective EQ/touch controls. Tom's Guide and Expert Reviews note drawbacks such as discomfort for some users, a large case or chassis, and fewer features than competing earbuds. Crutchfield customer reviews are mixed but generally positive, with buyers saying the headphones are lightweight, comfortable, and convenient for mowing or active use, while one common complaint is that the sound is not the greatest and the controls can be too sensitive.

On Consumer Reports and regional review sites, the product appears well liked for non-noise-canceling open-ear listening, especially where safety and awareness matter. Overall, the pattern across sources is that this is a solid open-ear headphone for workouts and casual listening if sound quality and situational awareness matter more than noise isolation or compactness.
