Editor's Take
Reviews for the Etymotic ER20 ETY Earplugs are generally positive across Amazon-style product pages, Walmart reviews, Reddit, and review blogs. Common praise centers on clear sound reduction without making music or speech feel muffled, making them popular for concerts, band practice, motorcycles, and noisy events. Users also like the reusable design, included neck cord, and carrying case.
On the downside, some reviewers say the fit can be tricky, especially for smaller or unusually shaped ears, and a few mention that comfort is not perfect for very long wear. A recurring complaint is that the lanyard or holder can be inconvenient, and some users feel the product is great but the company or customer service is less impressive.
Overall, Amazon reviewers, Walmart reviewers, Reddit users, and hearing-protection blogs describe the ER20 as a strong value pick for people who want hearing protection that preserves audio clarity.
