Editor's Take
Amazon reviewers generally describe the AGPTEK IPX8 Waterproof In-Ear Earphones as a low-cost option that can work well for swimming, with several comments praising clear music, a snug fit, and strong waterproofing. Reviews and roundup articles also mention common tradeoffs such as weak bass, short cable length, and mixed durability over time.
On Reddit, users give mixed but useful feedback: some say the sound is good for the price and the coiled cord helps keep the cable out of the way, while others report that the short wires can tug on the earbuds and that sound quality may drop after extended swimming. Review blogs and expert writeups tend to echo that the product is budget-friendly and effective underwater, but not a premium-feeling or especially comfortable choice for long sessions.
YouTube search results included real review/demo videos about this exact AGPTEK swimming earbud model, suggesting there is genuine interest in the product’s underwater performance and fit. The videos appear to focus on waterproof testing, sound quality, and practical swimming use.
- Budget-friendly and useful for swimmers
- Clear underwater audio for many users
- Common complaints: short cable, weak bass, inconsistent durability
- Best suited for casual swim workouts rather than premium everyday listening
