ModernMate Queen Lift Up Storage Bed Frame with Adjustable Headboard, Beige
About this product
About this item Soft Rounded Design for Modern Bedrooms: A full-profile upholstered frame with curved edges gives this lift up storage bed a softer, more inviting look, adding comfort and visual warmth for apartment, family home, guest room, and modern bedroom space
Premium Chenille Upholstered Bed Frame: OEKO-TEX certified chenille fabric gives this brown upholstered storage bed a soft, breathable texture with a refined blended look, adding warmth and dimension to modern, neutral, and cozy bedroom decor
Lift Up Storage Bed: The heavy-duty hydraulic gas lift strut lift opens to spacious storage for bedding, clothes, and seasonal items, while a removable bottom cover helps separate belongings from the floor, lint, and pet hair in busy bedrooms
Adjustable Headboard for 8-12 Inch Mattresses: The upholstered headboard offers multiple height settings to fit different mattress thicknesses, helping the bed frame align better with your mattress and create a tailored, finished look in the bedroom
Thoughtful Stability Details for Daily Use: Anti-slip mattress stoppers help keep the mattress in place during lifting, while reinforced slat locks connect the wood slats firmly to the frame for more stable support when accessing under-bed storage
No Box Spring Needed with Quieter Support: Reinforced wood slats support up to 1,000 lbs and hold the mattress directly, while silent foam padding between the slats and frame helps reduce friction noise for a quieter upholstered platform bed setup
Easy Assembly with 2-Box Delivery: Clearly labeled parts, step-by-step instructions, included hardware, and mini ratchet wrenches help simplify setup, while 2 separate packages make delivery, room placement, and staged assembly easier at home
Editor's Take
ModernMate Queen Lift Up Storage Bed Frame with Adjustable Headboard, Beige is best suited to shoppers who want concealed storage for bulky bedding and a headboard that accommodates different mattress heights. Perfect Fit Living highlights the hydraulic lift-up compartment, adjustable headboard for 8- to 12-inch mattresses, reinforced wood slats, and no-box-spring design. The removable bottom cover gives the storage area a more finished, contained surface.
Minormania describes the frame as premium-feeling, with soft chenille upholstery, a curved headboard, smooth hydraulic operation, and enough room for luggage, storage bins, and seasonal bedding. Its review also praises the sturdy construction, quiet operation, clear instructions, and responsive customer support. The same review notes that assembly takes two people, the bed sits higher than expected, and some users reported defective hydraulic arms.
The main trade-off is convenience: unlike drawers, the storage compartment requires lifting the mattress platform to access belongings. Delivery is also split into two packages, which can complicate setup. Overall, reviewers position the ModernMate as a stylish queen bed for shoppers prioritizing substantial hidden storage, mattress-height flexibility, and an upholstered look over quick-access storage.
