Allewie King Metal Bed Frame with Victorian Iron-Art Headboard, Black

The Allewie King Metal Bed Frame with Victorian Iron-Art Headboard earns strong marks for its classic black finish, sturdy construction, and value. Amazon reviewers say it looks beautiful, feels solid, and is generally quiet, with several describing it as stable without shaking or rocking during normal use. Reviewers also praise the clear instructions and manageable assembly, although one Amazon customer said the process took about 1.5 hours and another found the final screws difficult to attach because the fit was very tight.

Support is a major strength. Amazon reviewers describe the crosspieces and metal slats as strong, and several say the frame supports a mattress without a box spring. Some owners also appreciate the open space underneath for storage. Noise feedback is mostly positive, with multiple Amazon reviewers reporting no squeaking, though one customer noticed occasional squeaks.

Walmart reviewers similarly praise the Victorian design, sturdy metal slats, easy assembly, and overall value. One Walmart reviewer said the closer-set slats helped prevent mattress sagging, while another liked the smooth steel construction and complete hardware. A few drawbacks emerged: one reviewer found exposed center-support pieces easy to bump into, another reported scraped paint and wished touch-up paint had been included, and a dissatisfied reviewer considered the frame weaker than expected.

Overall, this frame is a good fit for shoppers who want an affordable king-size platform bed with an antique-inspired look, built-in headboard and footboard, under-bed clearance, and no box spring requirement. Check the support-bar placement during setup and inspect the finish for shipping damage before assembly.
