Angelina Jolie has Double Mastectomy

Angelina Jolie has written an article in the New York Times,  where she admits, that following consultations with doctors she decided to go through with the operation as she had an 87% chance of developing cancer. She said that figure has now dropped to 5%. 

The famous mother of six and partner of Brad Pitt  joins an increasing number of celebrities who are opting for the potentially life saving operation.  Our own Michelle Heaton from Liberty X and Sharon Osbourne have both undergone the same procedure.
