3 Cool Looks for St Patricks Day

One of our favourite weekends of the year is finally here and we can barely retain our excitement! Originally, the Irish holiday was observed by the religious community to commemorate Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. St Patricks Day has also become a celebration of Irish culture in general and is celebrated across the UK.

Everybody loves to have an excuse to party and St Patricks Day is usually one of the best parties of the year with plenty of bars, clubs and communities arranging events for the special occasion. This year St Paddy’s Day is on a Sunday making it the ideal day to go on a pub crawl with your friends and join in the festivities in your local area. If you are stuck for inspiration on what to wear this weekend, take a look at these 3 cool looks from Irish store, Chocolate Clothing.

Get ready for summer!!!

If you’re anywhere as excited as we are about leaving the cold and damp weather of winter behind and embracing the spring and summer, you’ll be starting to think about re-vamping your wardrobe too. There are so many exciting styles to choose from its hard to pick out our favourite trend. So we have put together a range of styles for different occasions throughout summer. Which one is your favourite?

This is the perfect outfit for a hot summer BBQ. It is practical and cute. A simple straw hat will keep you protected from the sun if you’re in it for a long time throughout the day. I love the colour of this Topshop top and these Levi’s jeans are an absolute summer must have. The shoes are Vans California available from iConsume. I love the unique summer pattern on them, it gives the whole outfit an added California look.

I love the easiness of this outfit. The dress is from Topshop and is perfect for really hot days in the sun. This is the perfect beach outfit. The sandals and bag are from Zara, I love the reflective panel at the front of the sandals and it looks fantastic accessorised with a colourful bag like this. The splash of colour adds a fun feel to the whole outfit.

For a more sophisticated city day out we recommend this outfit. The strapless floral dress is from French Connection as gives a feminine and stylish look. Matched with these cream French connection heeled sandals and River Island bag you are ready to hit the shops!

A Night at the BAFTAS

Following the delightful ceremony last night, the BAFTA’s has got everyone talking about the awards received and outfit choices by some of the biggest British actors and actresses. It has became a ritual to praise and slate the attendees of such prestigious events for their outfit choices, primarily the women.

Being the best dressed at award ceremonies like the BAFTA’S has almost become an official award in itself. Once again at the BAFTA’s 2013 there were a number of women who nailed the polished look whilst some missed the memo and arrived in gowns that made you wonder what they were thinking when they chose that outfit. Evidently, these attendees landed themselves in the worst dressed category, poor them!

Fashion icon, Sarah Jessica Parker, arrived at the BAFTA’s to present the award of ‘Best Actor’ to Daniel Day Lewis. The Sex and the City actress played it safe in a black Elie Saab jumpsuit; failing to live up to the expectations of her usual glammed up look. Nevertheless, SJP still looked sleek and youthful on the night of the event.
