Fashion in Different Cultures

Fashion in Different Cultures

Many different cultures have a lot of different fashion styles and senses, and every fashion trend experienced different variations and changes. Moreover, many traditional pieces of certain countries started overflowing into other cultures. Still, every place in the world decided to keep up with the latest fashion trends while at the same time clutching to some parts of their own tradition.

Japanese fashion

Kimono, as an integral part of Japanese fashion, is used by men, children and women. Kimonos can be of different styles, ranging from the casual to the elegant. It usually has a lot of details and embroidery. Traditional kimono is still widely worn by Japanese people, but those who do not want to be restricted by heavy fabrics opted for some modern kimono versions and ultimately, found a perfect compromise in layering their regular clothes.

English fashion

Everybody knows about the elegant style of English men and women, and even though heavy dresses and complex suits are out of fashion nowadays, this doesn't stop the English from incorporating some traditional pieces into their everyday wardrobe. Man still wear suits or add some classic touch such as vintage cufflinks or bowler hats. Accessories are very important to women, too, so it is not surprising to see an English lady walking around with a brooch or some staple jewelry, reminiscent of the old times.

African fashion

When it comes to Africa, everything is about prints and patterns. Still, don't think that these patterns stop at some simple checked prints. They are so much more, and the amount of color and lines will swirl your mind as well as your fashion style. Africa has traditionally been known for many attires and personal adornments. In time, African fashion evolved. Decorated costumes, vibrant colors, long dresses are screaming Africa, though it is good to note that these fashion trends are subjective.

Indian fashion

India have been an inspiration for the world fashion for a long time. Beautiful colors, fabrics and their flowy texture became extremely popular and Indian designers outdone themselves in this matter. Colourful Indian sarees started to represent a little work of art. They are really elegant and fabrics that are used are truly fine. Embroidery, that is usually gold, can make anyone fall in love with this style, and sometimes it is so delicate that it transcends imagination of any non-designer mind.

French fashion

In Paris, and Europe in general, there is this phenomenon of casual but long-lasting clothing. People wear one piece a lot. It is normal to see people on the subway with the same coat almost all winter. Still, these are expensive jackets and coats that last a lifetime and may even be passed from mother to daughter. This applies to every piece of clothing – the older the better! Basically, the vintage, or 'hipster' style is really popular and people seem to enjoy it a lot.

Wherever you go in the world, you will find yourself amazed with the various clothing styles, vibrant colors and materials that might be unknown to you. Not to mention that you will be able to learn many different ways of putting on a certain type of garment. Strange hats, shoes, belts, dresses – the world is full of wonders when it comes to fashion, and it is only natural to want to experience these new aspects of life.

Hi there,

Crochet is making a comeback and hot pants too. If you listen to all the style gurus and are
keeping a keen eye on the catwalks, you’ll know that 2020 is going to be a year of contrasts
in the world of fashion. Another exciting year ahead beckons…

How can we keep ahead of trends on a budget?

I’m a writer who started out her career in retail fashion and take a keen interest in both sides
of marketing, from business to consumer. I’ve recently been researching a piece on up and
coming fashion trends for the new year and through this, I discovered https://style-review.com/you-blog/entry/fashion-in-different-cultures.
I wondered if your site visitors would like to read an article based around my ideas? Anything
I do write for you would come to you free of charge and tailored to your existing content, fully
referenced for accuracy.

Would there be any chance at all you’d be open to an article from me?

Be great to hear back from you.

Sincere regards
Isabella
