...and for those who wish to know whether to buy a TTS or not, I've just returned from a little ragging sesh in the country around some of my favorite roads of the moment (see attached) and these are my findings:
1) The TTS is a pretty fine B-road weapon that curiously seems to drive and ride better with the mag ride switched to 'sport' rather than 'normal' mode - odd dontcha think???
2) The S3 on its 18" rims was a slightly more settled and therefore a better weapon for these purposes - doh!
3) The general impression at the wheel after some highly enthusiatic driving is of a car that really does need some beefier anti roll bars, not just to stop the car swaying so much, but to aid turn in which could do with some improvement. What the car does have over the S3 though is a far nicer and heavier weighting to the steering.
4) It is possible and I am proud to say that I managed to get really shitty gas mileage from a TTS at last. I managed 15.2mpg for the trip to the country but boy did I have to try hard to achieve it ;-)
5) I still really love it :-) :-)

Well I had mine up quite high yesterday 145 mph and she handled sweet as a nut, an incredible improvement on drive/handling to my 225bhp TT.
Overall it's a great improvement in many aspects from leg room, sound system and naturally the magnetic suspention. Not sure about the spoiler on auto, kinda gives it away your breaking the uk speed limit when it opens up at 80!
Nissan? Pah! No comparison! (still a pretty car tho:0)
